One of the most beautiful systems of
underground Karst caves in the world combines eleven caves,
sinkholes and natural
bridges. The caves are adorned by gigantic multicoloured
stalagmites and stalactites, curtain-like forms and a river
creating waterfalls, roaring rapids and still pools and
lakes. A guided tour through the Škocjan caves lasts ninety
minutes.
