Lake Bled is one of the most beautiful and frequented places in Slovenia. Hire a 'pletna' to take you to the island in the middle of the lake and ring a 450-year-old wishing bell. A magnificent view opens up from the island. Bled has mild, healthy subalpine climate with the longest bathing season of all alpine resorts.

The most beautiful of what nature has created in millions of years - twenty kilometres of magnificent tunnels, galleries and halls. You will meet the oldest inhabitant of the darkness – the human fish (Proteus Anguinus).

THE ŠKOCJAN CAVES PARK
     
   

One of the most beautiful systems of underground Karst caves in the world combines eleven caves, sinkholes and natural bridges. The caves are adorned by gigantic multicoloured stalagmites and stalactites, curtain-like forms and a river creating waterfalls, roaring rapids and still pools and lakes. A guided tour through the Škocjan caves lasts ninety minutes.
